This is a concept demo for a new Game Boy game I'm developing.
I uses filler sprites and tiles, so that I could test the core gameplay. 
It will be updated with new graphics and sounds as I progress through development.

Story and idea:
You'll play as "Enviro", a 12 years old kid, that wants to help its mother to get money for its fathers hospital bill.

You will be able to do that by cleaning the environment. Picking up trash from multiple places like the town, forest, sea and so on.

As you would progress through the game, you would upgrade your equipment for cleaning the environment.

The game itself is build as an top down RPG. But when you sort the collected trash into dumpsters, you enter a day dream in which you fall into the dumpster dungeon and have to stomp several trash monsters. 

The whole game should be very relaxing and is meant to bringt you some sort of Studio Ghibli feeling.

Nice little idea. I would only recommend making the sprite for Enviro. It will transmit more charm.
